Welcome to Lenius Ortho!
After more than 10 years in the profession, Dr. Jeff Lenius opened our new Orthodontics practice in January 2023. With his experience working in some of the best Orthodontic settings in the midwest, Dr. Lenius built this new practice on the belief that Orthodontics is science and art, creating beautiful smiles that improve the lives of his patients.

DR. JEFFREY LENIUS
ORTHODONTIST
Jeffrey Lenius, also known as Dr. Jeff, is the award-winning orthodontist and owner of Lenius Orthodontics. Dr. Jeff is passionate about orthodontics and finds great joy in creating beautiful smiles for his patients. His goal was to build a practice that felt like home, creating an environment based on integrity, honesty, and treating others the way they want to be treated. Lenius Orthodontics is the fruition of that dream and why he’ll only recommend the same treatment he would provide his own family.
When he isn’t Dr. Jeff, he’s simply just Jeff or Dad. And when he’s just Dad, he can likely be found with his favorite people – his wife Melanie and their two sons Brecken and Samuel. Family is at the center of his life and his true happiness. Nothing gives Dr. Jeff more joy than shooting hoops or going on a bike ride with Breck, being a human jungle gym for Sam, or kicking back and watching Netflix with Mel. He’s also slightly obsessed with Air Jordan sneakers, enjoys using his kids as an excuse to visit Legoland, and is constantly trying to find the best cheeseburger in town.
Dr. Jeff was born in Reinbeck, Iowa, a small town in Northeast Iowa (Go Hawkeyes)! In 2007, he graduated with a degree in Integrative Physiology from The University of Iowa. He also completed dental school at Iowa, earning his doctorate in 2011. He went on to pursue orthodontics at the University of Colorado, finishing first in his class, and earned his Masters of Science degree and orthodontic specialty certification. His interest and enthusiasm for pairing computerized orthodontics with tried-and-true orthodontic fundamentals ranks him among the top 1% of Invisalign providers worldwide and contributed to his being voted a Top Orthodontist in both Kansas City and St. Louis.

Bridget Taylor
Dental Technician
Bridget Taylor began working in orthodontics in 2016 and has developed a deep love for helping people fall in love with their smile. She began at the front desk and after a few years was able to transfer to the clinic where she trained how to assist with Dr. Lenius.
In 2020, she and her husband, Brennan, moved to KC, MO so she could fulfill the dream of living with her best friend, Marissa. Together, they have three senior dogs: Adele, Skylynn, and Honey.
When Bridget isn’t hanging out with her family, she enjoys reading, playing in the yard with her pups, and getting lost to the TikTok algorithm.
MJ Meister
Marketing
As a marketing professional, MJ has been deeply immersed in the advertising agency world, worked for a large corporation on the internal marketing staff, and now serves a select group of local clients. She is passionate about the integration of traditional, social, and digital marketing.
MJ and her husband, Ray enjoy their children and grandchildren and the most recent addition to the family, a standard poodle nicknamed MO. MJ is a member of the American Advertising Federation, volunteers time helping several non-profits with their marketing, and loves college sports, local restaurants, and good wine!
